Okay it's another day and lots of great stuff happened so I'm trying to keep my mind there but this is my venting space so here I go...
T mobile is really a polite provider but they have issues with their services. I've spent too many hours dealing with their issues. My son use to help me with all the tech stuff but I'm on my own now. For the most part I do ok but GEEZE!
I have to say they've taught their staff well. They apologize for everything. It gets to be pretty humorous after awhile. It makes me want to give them a bad time to see how many things they will apologize for. "I'm so sorry your dog ate you phone" "I'm so sorry that you didn't pay your bill" "I'm so sorry you are calling me a #@$" lol.
I had to deal with their lack of clear communication today. There was an issue and they had been texting and calling my husband and myself but we figured they were just trying to sell us stuff so we deleted them. Not good. My husband had some free time so out of curiosity he answered a call. OOOOPs There was an issue.
I told them they need to come up with a way to separate their messages. Maybe a "warning" dial tone or a text that has a preset WARNING THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM on it. It's the old "boy who cried wolf" issue going on with them. I sent a letter to the customer relations department so if you have T Mobile and you start to get very clever warning messages it was I who came up with the idea:)
My husband stayed home sick which always messes up the structure of my day. I ran around opening doors and cupboards with paper towels so I wouldn't catch whatever he has. Yes I took care of him as much as he would let me. He's not good at being sick so it's best to just stay out of his way. I hate being sick so I get a bit OCD about it.
Other than that my day was the normal weird day it always is. No major panic attacks today Ya Ho!

Life just gets too crazy sometimes. Don't you ever want to throw your "store bought" cookies in the trash and get some "real homemade" cookies. Taking what's real for me and sharing it with you is what this blog is about. Getting to the simpler times and sharing personal stuff is blogging at it's best. Come and vent with me!

Positive Thinking Is Positively Tough Today
I teach people to use positive thinking. I work really hard at doing that but venting is good too as long as you let it go afterwards.
I love this blog because it's my place to just throw mud pies when I need to. Then I can go back to life with a smile on my face. Life is so weird if you don't have somewhere to cross your eyes from disbelief I believe the luny bin is soon to come your way.
Imperfection reins wild! I have a tendency to believe other people have it all together and that I'm the only walking mess out there. I do know others have issues but it really does surprise me each time I see someone else being less than perfect.
I'm redoing my website and I swear I just can't get it right. No matter how many times I redo it my "small town" flare shows through. I am so the "Homemade Cookie" type. I do like looking at some of the slick sites out there but I just can't seem to go that direction. I like home spun.
I hired a young man to do the site and I was surprised and relieved when I saw him struggle with some aspects of the coding and such. I know some code but it scares me so I'm trying to face my fear by doing it but am not ready to tackle my main website that's for sure.
The stress was biting my bum so I made myself workout. It helped a lot but I'm still deep in the exhaustion the of the day. I have to keep rewording all the mean things I'm telling myself about me and actually others today. I'm on a "mean"streak. It happens.
So thinking positively is positively difficult today and actually most days I write in my venting blog.

IS THE WORLD REALLY COMING TO AN END?
What a day! I never turned on a computer until a couple of years ago and now I can't seem to turn mine off...There are so many fun things to see and do.
I've gotten a late start at life all around, not just with computers. I've lived in a bit of a vacuum. I didn't know when I was young that I had learning issues. I just thought I was stupid. There are so many things I was not able to do, the world just whizzed by me.
After finding out in my late 20's that I had some serious problems, I got help and started my quest to learn about the world. I must admit there are times when I want to go back into my bliss...hence my title. It's a bit crazy out there.
As a child I remember having to get under our desks to practice for the upcoming bombs. It scared me a bit but as I said I really didn't absorb what was going on. As I've gotten to learn about the world it seems there's always some sort of bomb that's going to go off.
It use to scare me ALOT when the tough issues we deal with were presented as the worst thing that's ever happen is blah blah. The blah blah keeps being filled in with different events.
I'm learning to not respond as if the world really is going to end when the suppose of worst happens. I'm quite proud of that. Instead I try to hear the problem, consider a solution and when I can't come up with cure for the issue ( which is usually) I begin my gratitude for those that can and are trying to make things better.
Those are my thoughts for today my friends.

HERE WE GO!
So here I am trying to write my first post and not knowing what to say. I love my title and I love my idea of sharing my stories with you but I must admit I'm a bit timid.
I come from a time when people weren't as open as they seem to be now. Or maybe I just came from a family that was very closed I don't know but I want to open up and talk about stuff I've been through so I can heal a bit and maybe you can too.
I was told that older women should share with younger women so they hopefully make fewer mistakes. I love that thought and I wish that would have happened to me but I never found an older woman who would open up and tell me about life.
I named this blog "Whatever Happened To Home Made Cookies" because I miss the simpler times. The world is moving so fast I feel like I'm going to fly off the merry go round and skin my knees.
I've had a pretty interesting life and I'm sure you have too. If you have a blog where you share about your stories let me know. I love blogs where women open up and talk about personal things. It allows me to slow down for a few minutes, walk in their shoes and maybe learn some great lessons.
So that's it. I'm hopefully going to be able to open up and let the good stuff fly out of my mouth. We'll see. But at least I came up with a really cool name LOL
